I just downgraded my laptop and have been happy since, other than when I don't have wireless access...The RJ-45 port lights up when I plug a cable into it and the network adapters available are the 1394 net adapter and the broadcom w/lan...if anyone can help me with the drivers I need to get that port to work I will be ever thankful.
